Receptionist:

iCube Development (Calgary) Ltd., is seeking a Full Time 8AM to 4PM (Monday to Friday) receptionist for our Calgary SW Office.

Data recovery is a very specialized industry requiring a unique skill set; as such we value employees who demonstrate leadership skills, independent thinking, and dislike “cookie cutter” employment. It should be noted the position of receptionist is not a work from home position.

Job Duties:

  1. Performing intake of client requests (e-mail, phone and in-person).
  2. Perform quality assurance calls.
  3. General office duties as required (eg: maintenance, cleanliness, etc.).
  4. Coordinate deliveries / pickups with couriers.
  5. Maintain vendors / supplier contacts.
  6. Maintaining office manuals and technician assets (written documentation).
  7. Type and format letters and reports.
  8. Maintain and organize both office and technical equipment.
  9. Purchase and shipment of office and technical equipment.
  10. Assisting the Director of IT with basic administrative duties.

Requirements:

  1. Basic understanding of storage technologies (eg: HDD, SSD, USB Memory Stick).
  2. Intermediate understanding with Windows and Office (eg: Word, Excel, Outlook) software.
  3. Able to demonstrate typing skill of 60WPM (or higher) during the interview process.
  4. Clearly communicate (verbal and written) in English; other languages considered an asset.
  5. Hold a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract.
  6. High school education (or equivalent).
  7. At least 3 years of experience in a previous paid administrative, support, or receptionist role within an office environment.
  8. Able to multi task with accuracy while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
  9. Independently perform Job Duties without supervision.
  10. Bondable and insurable by our insurance company.
  11. Provide our clients a sense of confidence.
  12. Understands the concept of working hard vs. working smart.
