F/T Computer Technician:
iCube Development (Calgary) Ltd., a Calgary-based data recovery company, is seeking a Full Time (Monday to Friday 10AM to 6PM) Computer Technician for our SW Calgary office.

Receptionist / Office Administrator Job Details:
Job Duties:
- Performing intake of client requests.
- Reception, greeting customers / clients, answering phones.
- Maintain select vendors / supplier contacts.
- Coordinate deliveries / pickups with couriers.
- Maintains, orders, and organizes office stationary and equipment.
- Types and formats letters and reports.
- Generate and issue Purchase Orders.
- Recording supplier invoices.
- General office duties as required (eg: maintenance, cleanliness, etc.).
- Purchasing and shipment of items for on-site and office operations.
- Assisting the Director of IT with administrative duties.
- Assist our team w/submission of Work Orders.
- Maintaining office manuals and technician assets (written documentation).
- Perform quality assurance calls.
- Other duties as determined from time to time.
Requirements:
- Intermediate understanding of storage technologies.
- Able to demonstrate typing skill of 60WPM (or higher).
- Clearly communicate (verbal and written) in English; other languages considered and asset.
- Hold a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract.
- High school education (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of experience in a previous paid administrative, support, or receptionist role within an office environment.
- Able to multi task with accuracy while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Independently perform Job Duties without supervision.
- Bondable and insurable by our insurance company.
- Provide our clients a sense of confidence.
- Understands the independent concept of working hard vs. working smart.

Computer Technician Job Details:
Job Duties:
- Taking phone calls and updating clients to the status of their service requests.
- Booking in service requests and the identification and removal of storage devices from their enclosures and / or chassis.
- Recording keeping and performing basic inventory tracking.
- Customer service relations, specifically performing quality control follow-up communication with new and existing clients.
- Building computers, servers, and network storage devices.
- Demonstrate exceptional Internet based research skills.
- Perform technical health checks (servers, hard drives, memory, etc.).
- Taking cash, debit, and credit card payments.
- Delegation of technical support requests to other members of our team.
- Clean and organize technical workspace.
- Repair, maintain, update, patch, and deploy Windows and Linux installations.
- Deploy, maintain, and update network environments.
- Deploy, migrate, and sandbox virtual machines / instances.
The Computer Technician position is not a sales or call center position, call center and sales experience is not considered an asset.
Requirements:
- Be the age of majority.
- Be bondable by our insurance provider(s).
- Possess a valid class 5 operators license.
- Provide iCube Development a recent copy of their drivers abstract.
- Experience dealing with both residential and commercial clientele.
- Have a basic knowledge of technical diagnostic procedures.
- Have an intermediate understanding of TCP/IP v4, POP, IMAP, SMTP, DNS, HTML, PHP, MySQL and or industry standard equivalents.
- Have an intermediate understanding of storage devices and file storage systems.
- Demonstrate intermediate skill with computer troubleshooting.
- Excellent English (both written and verbal) communication, with any other languages considered and asset.
- Provide past references and demonstrate the required skills mentioned above during the interview process.
- Any other technical certification / education considered an asset.
- Understands the independent concept of working hard vs. working smart.
